St. Patrick's Day

Throughout the week of St. Patrick's Day, the silly classroom leprechaun visited our second and third graders and caused some trouble. Almost every morning during the week, the leprechaun left messy green footprints on student desks and small notes with a golden coin, applauding students that were doing an awesome job in the classroom. One day, the leprechaun even left footprints on my desk...but no gold coins! Instead, he threw the things on my desk everywhere and made quite a mess. Apparently I wasn't doing an awesome job in the classroom!? ;)

Our second and third graders were surprised on St. Patrick's Day with a breakfast of green eggs and ham, thanks to Miss Zimmerman and Mrs. Smith. Students loved eating this strange breakfast while listening to a fifth grader read Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
