Presidential Unit

Last week we finally, after all those snow days, finished up our unit on United States presidents. Each student in second and third grade chose a United States president to research and write about. After doing the research, students began to write a report about their president. Students typed out this report as well as found pictures of their president online to print out along with their report. Both the report, along with the pictures, were glued onto a mini paper president.

After creating their mini presidents, students had the opportunity to present their president to the rest of the class so that everyone could learn interesting facts about the many men who have been president of the United States. Now these beautiful mini paper presidents are hanging in the hallways around the school so that students from all grades can enjoy and learn about these presidents of the United States.

Feel free to walk the hallways of the school and check out our mini paper presidents. Who knows, you may learning something new about one of the presidents of the United States!
