Field Trips!

This week we have been having a lot of fun with field trips! On Tuesday, we went to the Children's Museum and our second and third graders had the opportunity to learn a bit more about air and water. They learned that air can be extremely powerful by using the Amazing Airways display at the museum. Then they learned that not all heavy things sink and not all light things float using the Water Table at the museum.

After going through these sessions, students were then given free reign of the museum to do whatever they would like with the other displays and activities around the Children's Museum. Students loved experimenting with different things throughout the museum such as the home section, doctor section, and many other fun sections!

After visiting the Children's Museum, students went to a nearby park and had fun eating lunch with their sixth grade chapel buddies. After eating, students enjoyed playing on the park equipment with their chapel buddies!

For the end of this field trip, students went bowling at Stardust Lanes with their sixth grade chapel buddies. Students had a blast getting to know their buddies a little better as they competed against them in their lanes.

Overall, we had a great time on this field trip and I could tell that our second and third graders played hard as they waited in car line at the end of the day on Tuesday; they were very quiet! :)
